OneDrive China

Mount the OneDrive of a Microsoft 365 tenant operated by 21Vianet in China as a Windows drive.

Before you begin

Prepare the following in advance:

• A work or school account on a 21Vianet-operated Microsoft 365 tenant (partner.microsoftonline.cn). For global tenants, use OneDrive (Business) instead.
• Your organization must allow third-party app consent.

Connect

1. Click Add in the toolbar.
2. Choose Business → OneDrive China.
3. Pick what to mount:
   • My files — the whole tenant OneDrive.
   • Shared — items shared with you inside the organization.
   • Folder — a single folder, or one by its URL (see Mount a specific folder below).
4. Set the drive letter and name, then click Connect. Your browser opens — sign in on the 21Vianet portal and accept.

Mount a specific folder

Instead of the whole tenant OneDrive, you can mount the selected folder.

Specify the folder one of two ways:

• Click the folder icon to open a folder browser — it asks you to sign in first, then double-click into the folder you want and click OK.
• Or select the Shared Link tab and paste the URL directly. Open the folder in the OneDrive web app and copy the URL from your browser's address bar.

Behavior & limits

• Same file-name rules as global OneDrive: " * : < > ? / \ | are rejected — see Microsoft's restrictions list.
• Endpoints are the Chinese sovereign cloud's own — a global Microsoft account cannot sign in here, and vice versa.

Troubleshooting
