SharePoint China¶
Mount a document library of SharePoint Online operated by 21Vianet in China as a Windows drive.
Before you begin¶
Prepare the following in advance:
- A work or school account on a 21Vianet-operated Microsoft 365 tenant (partner.microsoftonline.cn). For global tenants, use SharePoint instead.
- Your organization must allow third-party app consent.
Help from Microsoft
Connect¶
- Click Add in the toolbar.
- Choose Business → SharePoint China.
- Set the drive letter and name, then click the Refresh button next to the site list and sign in on the 21Vianet portal.
- Select the site to mount, then click Connect.

Behavior & limits¶
- The site list shows sites of groups you belong to, as on global SharePoint.
- File names containing
" * : < > ? / \ |cannot be saved — see Microsoft's restrictions list.
Troubleshooting¶
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |

| Sign-in fails with a valid account | Account belongs to the global cloud | Use the regular SharePoint entry in the Business tab |
| Expected site not in the list | Not a member of the site's group | Ask the site owner for membership, then click Refresh again |
