IDrive e2

Mount an IDrive e2 bucket on Linux with the RaiDrive CLI. Connect with an access key pair and your IDrive e2 endpoint address.

To get the account, keys or IDs this needs, see Before you begin in the IDrive e2 guide for the Windows app.

raidrivecli add idrive --bucket <bucket> --endpoint <address>

If you add storage with only the options shown above, you will be prompted to enter a Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.

$ raidrivecli add idrive --bucket mybucket \
                         --endpoint https://abcd.region.idrive2-ee.com
Access Key ID: <access-key-id>
Secret Access Key: ********

Alternatively, a Access Key ID or Secret Access Key can be specified as options.

raidrivecli add idrive --bucket <bucket> --endpoint <address> \
                       --access-key-id <key>
raidrivecli add idrive --bucket <bucket> --endpoint <address> \
                       --access-key-id <key> \
                       --secret-access-key [secret]

Warning

Shell commands are logged in history. If possible, we recommend not specifying the --secret-access-key option with a value.

If a mount directory is not specified, it will be mounted to a directory such as /mnt/idrive under /mnt. To specify the mount directory, use the --mount-path option.

raidrivecli add idrive --bucket mybucket \
                       --endpoint https://abcd.region.idrive2-ee.com \
                       --mount-path /myservices/idrive
