Bandwidth


Limit the maximum speed of download and upload.


Caution

  • This option is activated after the drive is added.
  • Editing is not possible while the drive is connected.

1.If the drive is connected, click the Disconnect button(stop). disconnect

2.Click the Edit button(setting). settingbutton


Setting download speed limit

1.Check Bandwidth Download, set the download speed limit and click the OK or Apply button. downsetting

2.After connecting the drive, the download speed limit icon is created as shown below. icon

3.If you set it to 3MB/s, you can see that the average download speed is limited to 3MB/s as shown below.

Tip

If you look at the Download Throughput Average Speed Graph in Task Manager > Performance > Ethernet, you can see that it is limited to 23.8Mbps (about 3MB/s). downethernet


Setting upload speed limit

1.Check Bandwidth Upload, set the upload speed limit and click the OK or Apply button. upsetting

2.After connecting the drive, the upload speed limit icon is created as shown below. upicon

3.If you set it to 3MB/s, you can see that the average upload speed is limited to 3MB/s as shown below.

Tip

If you look at the Upload Throughput Average Speed Graph in Task Manager > Performance > Ethernet, you can see that it is limited to 24.2Mbps (about 3MB/s). upthernet
